Four Corners

We got to do some fun traveling this summer. But by far our FAVORITE was our Mask reunion in Colorado. Just some of our favorite memories are: river rafting, hiking till we want to drop(some were crying), golfing, alpine slide, bungee trampoline, snowball fights, sleepovers and the bear that Rayla saw on the way to sleep at granny's, the snake Spencer spotted and Joseph caught it was HUGE, the FIREWORKS!! And the beautiful drive through the mountain I don't think we could ever get enough. And of course the cooler weather we were literally freezing with jackets in the afternoons. Anyway on the way home we had a little argument. I wanted to go river rafting and the kids all wanted to go to the four corners. We did both! So here is our proof that we endured the one hour wait to take a picture by all these flags and say we were here. Now let's not do that again!

Snake Skin!

Spencer and Keegan got to watch Pinetop our garter snake shed its skin. Pretty Cool!!

Andrey

Two Sundays ago the kids decided it would be fun to dress Andrew up like a girl
and call him Andrey. He was a good sport. Besides what are younger siblings for anyway?

Our first garden

So now to add a few fun pictures of fun stuff we did this summer.
First of this summer we planted our first garden. A lot of it was trial and error. We started alot of it inside the house from seed and then transplanted it into our garden. We planted roses, zincas, sunflowers, squash, watermelons, tomato, peppers, cantalope, zucchini, strawberries. We went to pinetop for a week at the end of June and when we came home we harvested some fun things from our garden. So we brought them all in the house and took a video and a picture. And then the watermelon fell!

Andrew loves to be naked. And whenever he runs around naked he will say "nak".
And Victoria loves underdog her very personal superhero.
Put those together and what do you have? SUPERNAK!!
This is the uniform that the kids came up with for him.

We are going to the Caribbean

Well we did it. We found a great deal with Delta airlines and we are going to Pirates of the Caribbean(Tori:) We got tickets for 298.00 a person and we are very excited. We spent two hours last Saturday in the post office filling out forms and doing the whole passport thing. Hopefully everything goes well and we didn't make any mistakes that will cost us time. I am a little worried about going during the time of year when it seems like everyone is sick. But hopefully it will all work out and we won't be dealt with anything to bad. The kids are really excited they are already dreaming of all the animals they want and hope to see. I am excited to see the clear blue water and the beaches with white sand. It kinda freaks me out a little that we are going to be on an island in the Caribbean. So for the next three months we have a lot to prepare for because we will leave November 30th and come home December 8th and it will be so close to Christmas.

Getting Excited!

Yesterday Amy helped me get set up with this whole blogging thing. I have always felt very insecure about stuff like this because I always struggle with expressing myself. But I am very excited at the opportunity to use this as a fun way to record many memories. I hope that we will always look back and remember all the good times we have together as a family. Now I just need for my husband help me be a little more savvy so I can post some fun pictures.
