Superbowl 2010
Saints vs the colts. As my boys are getting older this is getting pretty fun to see them get intense and excited about the Superbowl and sports in general. L.J. went back and forth during the game he just wasn't sure who he wanted to win. About the last 5 min. of the game he was pretty sure he wanted the Saints to take the win. So all in all we had BBQ Ribs & Ckn, corn, mashed potatoes, and football cupcakes. Everything was really yummy. I never make ribs so this was surely a feast. Joseph said he felt like a king. Thanks to Parker we had the best ribs ever as he put him in his smoker all day long. I wonder can we top this Superbowl party? It was pretty fun.
Victoria
Tori is discovering! She was very upset when I told her she couldn't go to school with her hair like this.. I didn't want to say anything to upsetting because I think she is beautiful. So I told her it would be hard to see her teacher and her friends with her hair in her face. And she sadly agreed it might be a little hard.
(PS The middle picture in the post is the one day we had this discussion.)
Memories!
I have made some resolutions this year, so far I am doing ok. Sometimes I choose just to do nothing because chances are I will choose not to do it. I started this blog a year or two ago and have made like maybe two posts a year. I keep a book called the blue binder, in it I have some of the most memorable quotes/ things my kids have done and said that I always want to remember. But, wouldn't it be that more priceless if there was a picture or two to compliment the funny things they say and do. So I decided to be more diligent in blogging and documenting. And hopefully, in the future my kids will feel and remember.

This one is for you! AMY
All of my kids have had a favorite pair of shoes. Rayla had her ruby red slippers that she wore till her toes poked out. Joseph had a boot that he carried all his treasure in to keep Rayla from stealing them. Spencer had something he wore with his pirate get up. Tori had her pink sandals with all the bling. Andrew just got a blue pair or soccer shoes from his cousin Alex. He loves how fast he runs in them, he sleeps with them on and he has even discover if he gets upset with you he can cause a lot of damage when he stamps on your bare foot. We have learned when we want to discipline him for something all we have to do is take one shoe off and his whole world crumbles. Here is a picture of the kids playing street hockey. Notice Andrews blue shoes. One look and you will see why I had to take this picture.

Superstition Farms
In the fall for playgroup we went to Superstition Farms. We loved it. We got to go on a ride and see lots and lots of cows even some babies that were born just that very day. We got to pet lots of farm animals, play in cotton, and best of all we got to drink a fresh cup of chocolate milk. Can't wait to visit the farm again in the future.
